Secure Server

Secure Servers work in conjunction with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the standard protocol for secure, Web-based communications.

SSL establishes a secure communications channel between our server and your browser. You can communicate securely with our server using Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or most popular e-mail programs. Once activated by Trailblazer's Secure Server ID, SSL immediately begins providing you with the following components of secure online commerce:

Authentication - By checking our Secure Server ID, you can verify that the Web site belongs to Trailblazer, and not an impostor. Trailblazer's certificate is issued issued to "Creative Innovations, Inc., lapis.site-secure.net" and issued by RSA Data Security, Inc.

Message privacy - SSL encrypts all traffic between you and our web server, using a unique session key. This ensures that information, if it is intercepted by unauthorized parties, is very difficult to read - certainly far more difficult that would be, say, an unscrupulous employee at a shop or restaurant to whom you give you physical credit card!

There are two ways to buy books from us, through our secure server, or by faxing us your details. When you are transferred to our booklist page, you'll see the little padlock on your Netscape navigator or Internet Explorer switch to the "closed" setting. Click on your Security settings to view our certificate, issued to "Creative Innovations, Inc., lapis.site-secure.net" and issued by RSA Data Security, Inc.

To browse our online booklist, which lists every Trailblazer title, using our secure server, click here. This will open a new browser window.

If you just don't feel comfortable parting with your details online, no problem - we provide a faxable form for you to send us your order by fax. Get the form here, print it out on your printer, fill in the details and fax it to us at the number listed on the form.

Either way, we very much appreciate the business!
